This yarn is part of our Northwest Natural line of locally produced, natural color yarns. This yarn is made from a blend of Finn, Gotland and Icelandic sheep wool raised by our friend Karin Lowe on her Lowe & Behold farm in Snohomish, Washington. We had it spun in a small mill in Oregon, making this a purely Pacific Northwest product
This is a naturally colored white wool yarn, spun to a DK weight. Each skein is 200 yards and weighs about 125 grams. The white base also makes this a good yarn for trying out your own dyeing.
